**About ELOREA Los Angeles**ELOREA, a renowned specialty coffee house in Los Angeles, is seeking a skilled barista to join our team.As a barista at ELOREA, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art. You will maintain beverage safety and cleanliness standards, and consistently provide excellent customer service.Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art.
• Maintain beverage safety and cleanliness standards by completing delegated tasks.
• Have an open mind to learning new things and embracing change.
• Employees are required to complete any and all training material provided to ensure full understanding of our menu and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards.
• Weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for guests according to their specifications.
• Operate the POS system ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills.
• Consistently able to execute tasks with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.Physical Requirements
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
  • Regularly lift and move up to 30 lbs (Coffee bags, milk crates, paper goods, etc.).
  • Must be able to work all operational hours.
  • Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the space to others.Qualifications
    • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, and drink preparation.
    • Must be able to perform latte artwork.
    • Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
    • 1+ year barista experience on an espresso machine preferred.
    • Good problem-solving techniques and ability to do so with pace, empathy, and sometimes under pressure.
    • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production.
    • Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country.
